ProPresenter Remote App Reviews

We love ProPresenter and once again you guys have come up with a solid App in this remote! Worth every penny. Cant wait to see what you have in store for us next!

2.0 immediately logs out after password prompt

Only a couple things that should be added: 1. A search function in the library. This is for convenience as some people get frustrated looking through tons of songs and slides at the last minute. 2. Add an option to access the backgrounds folder so we can control video from the remote. 3. And option to send message/notifications only to the main pro presenter controller (computer).

There should definitely be a way to access search for the library. Also a way to change and access background it makes it very difficult to truly use it as a remote.

There were major problems with the first iOS7 version of ProPresenter Remote when trying to control ProPresenter 4 (slides wouldn’t show up). Now the slides will show up (finally) but you can’t switch playlists. Well, you can if you’re okay with only being able to control the second slide in your playlist. Seems to work okay if you only attempt to control a the first playlist you access, although I haven’t tested it extensively yet.

The iPad app has a ton of wasted space on the screen. Especially in remote mode, theres two big white squares that dont even seem to do anything except take up space. Couldve used that space to make the words way bigger, show more panels, or many other things. Just lacking

Every time you switch back and forth between apps, it has to re-connect, load, and forgets your place, requiring you to navigate back through every playlist and sub folder just to choose a new slide. It also has to be quit and restarted just to display the slides, and even then wont even display the thumbnails, just grey boxes with titles. Extremely ponderous and essentially unusable for any presentation.

Now its unusable. It doesnt work at all. Cant launch any slides or videos from the app. PLEASE FIX!

There was a short period of time when this app worked well. Now it is completely worthless. It does not fire the correct slide, it will not remember a password even if you click off the app for one second. If you are wanting to run propresenter you will need to have a operator. For such an expensive piece of software it does seem that these issues could be worked out.

...with the app communicating with ProPresenter on MacBook starting today. Not firing the correct slides when clicked on the app. Please advise. Typically, great app with no issues at all.

Do not download this app unless they remedy their issues. It is glitchy and doesnt save passwords.

Great idea for a great base app, but the bugs for a paid app are unbearable. Since the most recent base app update, there is a lag of 5-6 seconds for any remote actions to the base app, ad simple things like using the remote to change stage display layouts will lag the base app for the same amount of time, and sometimes even crash it. Dont purchase until they work on this thing, you will be disappointed.

This app has all kinds of connectivity issues. Sometimes it see my PP6 machine then a couple minutes later it doesnt. I have to turn Network off/on in Preferences at the computer for app to connect. For a paid app and expensive software. It needs a lot of work!!

Keeping it short and sweet. I love this app and couldnt do several events without it. An Apple Watch version would be awesome

The app is buggy, extraordinarily slow, and it cannot maintain a solid connection to the host machine. As a remote, it should be simple and quick to use with a solid connection.

Were running ProPresenter 5 on Mac, and things are working great for us. I like the new look, and I like the fact that the menu auto hides.

I like the new looking interface but I noticed that you cant tell when youve selected a graphic or image. In the original app there was a momentary indication that you selected an image or animation to run. The play button temporarily grayed out for an instant letting you know it was selected. This was important because this particular instance of Propresenter was running in another room from where Im streaming in. That momentary indication let me know that the selection had been recognized by Propresenter. Other than its a really useful app.

App crashes every time I try to load a presentation on ipad 3. I have Propresenter 4 and have tried to use this app since it first released with limited success. The current version is by far the worst yet, it crashes every time.
